A huge trend right now is the high-low maxi skirt. I tried it myself (see Mink Pink courtesy of Moderne) but it just didn’t look right on my frame. I wish it did, it is the perfect mullet of maxi skirts! You get to show off your gams while somewhat being modest! And ventilation is certainly not an issue. But yes, the only way this skirt would work for me would be if I found the right cut (the one in the middle in this pic looks best suited for me - it appears to be cut a little bit shorter in the back and the ruffles give volume) w/the right pair of heels. I am a shorty.
