It’s been almost a month since the mixer event at EA Vintage’s new spot, The Cycling Owl, but I’ve been mad busy and haven’t had much time to do an extensive post EA Vintage deserves! But of course now I have time and have the opportunity to share w/you how awesome this San Diego boutique is, and how awesome Erica Ashley Hecht, owner of EA Vintage, is!
Most of my friends know, I’ve worked w/EA Vintage (even done a little modeling for the Etsy… eep! I’m no model!), and I know first hand how great of an eye Erica has. She has such an extensive collection of vintage clothing, accessories, shoes, and jewelry - it’s intense! She’s such a great shopper, that she even styles and shops for those who need a wardrobe boost.
Recently, Erica moved to downtown San Diego and opened up her own loft boutique called The Cycling Owl. The building itself is truly amazing, filled with a mixture of historical photographs, pop-surrealism paintings, and modern art installations. Step inside her loft space and you’ll see racks and racks of beautiful clothing and a display of gorgeous accessories. The entire atmosphere is sophisticated and eclectic w/a touch of whismy (Erica’s quite fond of owls).
I wish I had gotten more photographs of her clothing, but I was too busy mingling and trying out the sweet goodies laid out for guests! You’ll have to check out her shop in person if you want to see more!
